The Process

I know how overwhelming it can be to put a room together – let alone an entire house. The very nature of the process means that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. This is what I love about designing – together we can talk through every element of your room to alleviate this pressure, making it a fun and inspiring process.

You may have a very clear idea of what you want, or you may feel a bit lost – there is no right or wrong, I can meet you at whatever level you’re at. You can be in full control of your space or leave it to me to lead – I welcome either approach.

Step One - Contact Us

If you think I can help, please contact us outlining your requirements.

Don’t worry if you don’t have much detail at this stage – a brief description of the project and the location is more than enough at this point.

Step Two - Chat

Your requirements will be unique to you, so following this initial contact, I can get in touch to further discuss your project and assess whether I’m the best fit for you.

At this point you can discuss your ideas in more detail and we can come up with some ideas together.

Step Three - Quote

If you’re keen to proceed, I can put together a quote to incorporate your requests and provide options that work for you. I’ll also outline my availability.

Step Four - House Visit

For me, there is no better approach than being in your space, seeing how the light lands and working with you to pick colours, textures and prints that work in your environment.
“Lighting and surroundings play such an important part in a scheme, as does proportion. You need to see a fabric or print in a room to really get a feel of how it will look – so get used to me holding up samples in the place it’s going to go! Seeing and touching the fabrics is a pivotal part of the process and a great chance to try a few options before committing.”
